Mai Bahuudeshiy Sanstha PuneIndependence Day
Independence Day is the must celebrated day for all Indians. Each year on the 15th of August, we celebrate this day, remembering the struggles of the freedom fighters of our country. Our President proudly hoists the national flag, paying homage to freedom fighters. Local communities join us in celebrations, and we organize programs, including singing, dancing, reciting, and drawing competitions for local children, distribute food items like biscuits, chocolates, cakes, ensuring a memorable and meaningful observance.
Republic Day
On January 26th each year, we observe Republic Day, marking the day when our Constitution was adopted. At our organization premises, our president and secretary hoist the national flag, and deliver inspiring speeches that emphasize our commitment to societal betterment. On this day we visit schools and educate students on our democratic values, making the day memorable. It’s a day to reinforce our commitment to a just and democratic society
International Women’s Day
International Women’s Day is a global celebration of women’s achievement and contribution, and at Mai Bahuudeshiy Sanstha, we commemorate it with an awareness event for women. We strive to educate them on their rights, responsibilities, and the crucial aspect of self-reliance. Our focus is on emphasizing the importance of education, encouraging women to empower themselves. Furthermore, we advocate for training opportunities that enable them to generate independent income, fostering empowerment and self-sufficiency in our community.
Haldi Kumkum
We celebrate Haldi Kum Kum differently. Instead of only married women, we invite widowed women. We spend time together, share gifts, and spread awareness about accepting and supporting them. It’s our way of giving them a second chance and promoting inclusivity in our society.
